Cold Outreach That Did Its Homework
Most cold email reads like cold email because nobody looked at the company first. Harvey is an open-source autonomous sales agent powered by Claude Code that does the research before it writes. Brief it once on what you sell, your pricing and your ideal customer, and it runs the loop from finding prospects to working replies toward a booked meeting.
It Researches Before It Writes
Harvey discovers businesses that match your ideal customer profile, reads their websites — a few plain HTTP requests, with no model call — and finds something specific to reference. It writes outreach around that real detail, sends it, reads the replies and works each thread toward a meeting, around the clock.
No API Bill, Built-In Guardrails
Instead of a per-token API bill, Harvey runs through the Claude Code CLI on the Pro or Max plan you already have, and it throttles itself to leave headroom for your own Claude work. The guardrails are built in: an approval mode, daily send caps, bounce limits, one company at a time, an automatic stop after 14 days, and a kill switch. Setup is a clone of the repo — then Claude walks you through the rest.
You're Still the Sender
Harvey automates the work, but the emails go out in your name. Cold outreach is regulated: identify yourself, honor opt-outs, and follow CAN-SPAM, GDPR and whatever rules apply where your prospects are. Starting in approval mode is the sensible way to see what it writes before it sends anything.
