Why the industry pages are grouped this way

The pages above are organised by the sector a team works in rather than by the software they want, because the same tool tends to be built very differently depending on what has to be true around it. A booking flow for a clinic and a booking flow for a restaurant look alike in a screenshot and share almost nothing underneath — one carries patient records, the other carries table turnover. The distinction that matters is not the feature list; it is the constraints the sector brings with it.

Regulation is a build constraint, not a footnote

Fintech, insurtech, healthcare and legal all arrive with rules about where data may live, who may read it, and how long it must be kept. Those decisions belong at the start of a build, because retrofitting an audit trail or a role boundary onto a working app is far more expensive than designing for it on day one. The pages for those sectors lead with that rather than with features.

Most sector software is bought to solve one problem and kept for ten

Teams buy a vertical tool for the thing it does well, then bend the rest of their process to fit the parts it does badly. That trade made sense when building was expensive. It is much weaker now: a tool used by nine people can be built to match how those nine people actually work, and changed the week the process changes.

If your sector is not listed, pick by shape

These thirteen are the sectors we see most, not a closed list. If yours is missing, choose the page whose problem shape matches yours — a marketplace is a marketplace whether it moves freight or furniture, and a client portal behaves the same for an accountancy as for a design studio.

Common questions

Do I need to pick the industry page that matches my company exactly?

No. The pages differ in the examples and constraints they lead with, not in what the platform can do. Pick the one closest to the problem you are solving; the build path is the same from there.

Can Greta.sh handle regulated data such as health or financial records?

Apps you build own their own database and deployment, so data residency and retention are yours to set rather than ours to dictate. Compliance still depends on how you configure and operate the app, and on your own obligations — the platform does not certify a build on your behalf.

Is an industry page different from a solutions page?

Industry pages group by the sector you work in; solutions pages group by the role you hold. Someone in ops at a fintech will find useful material on both — the fintech page for the constraints, the ops page for the workflow patterns.
