Make Claude Attack Tasks Like a Top Expert

A field guide to /be-ambitious, a free community Claude skill based on Anthropic engineer Felix Rieseberg's method: it answers four questions about what a top pro would do, rewrites your prompt to demand it, and pauses for your review.

What's inside
  • Four questions about what a top expert would do
  • Rewrites your prompt to demand the deeper version
  • Pauses so you review the rewrite before it runs
  • Based on Anthropic engineer Felix Rieseberg's method
  • A free community skill — not an official Anthropic release

Deeper, Not Bigger

Most prompts ask for the surface answer: "fix this bug," "make the page faster." /be-ambitious is a free Claude skill that rewrites your prompt into the version a top expert would actually tackle — before Claude starts on it.

It Rewrites Your Prompt

Before doing your task, the skill answers four questions for your field:

  1. What would a top professional do that you're not asking for?
  2. What's the rawest material they'd start from, rather than a pre-digested summary?
  3. Which specific methods and tools would they use?
  4. What would independently prove the result is right?

It then rewrites your prompt to demand exactly that, and stops so you can review the new version before it runs. "Get the page to load in 5 seconds" becomes "get it under 200ms, with before-and-after measurements."

From an Anthropic Engineer's Method

The method comes from Felix Rieseberg, a lead engineer on Claude at Anthropic, and the article "How to be more ambitious." The community wrapped it into this free skill. Clone the repo into your Claude Code skills folder, then run /be-ambitious <your task>.

Good to Know

This is a free community skill based on an Anthropic engineer's approach, not an official Anthropic release. It rewrites the prompt; you still decide whether to run it. As with any skill, skim its SKILL.md before installing.
