From Chatbot to Powerhouse
Out of the box, Claude is a chat box: it works with what you paste in. Five connectors turn it into something that actually does the work — giving it a research brain, eyes on the web, a detective for your product data, hands to drive a browser, and one connection to every app you use.
1. A Research Brain — Perplexity
Deep research and real-time data pulled from across the internet, with sources. Claude can ask, reason and research instead of relying only on what it already knows.
2. Eyes on the Web — Firecrawl
Claude can see and scrape the web: pull a page's content, grab brand assets, and run instant competitor research.
3. A Product Detective — PostHog
Your analytics become a private investigator. Claude digs through your funnels and events to surface bugs and the exact points where you're losing customers.
4. Browser Hands — Playwright
Microsoft's browser automation gives Claude hands to drive a real browser — clicking, filling out forms, navigating, and testing your site end to end.
5. Every App, One Shot — Composio
Instead of setting up apps one by one, a single connector links Claude to hundreds of them at once — Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion and more — loading only the tools a task needs.
Adding Them
Each one is a single command: claude mcp add --transport http <name> <url>, with Playwright installed through npx instead. In the Claude app, you can add them from + → Connectors.
